Mrs. Chidinma Iheme
Managing Director / CEO

Mrs. Chidinma Iheme holds a Bachelor of Laws (B.L.) Degree from the University of Lagos Akoka, graduating in 1983. She was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1984. She also holds an MBA from the ESUT Business School Lagos, which she obtained in 1999. An Associate Member of the Institute of Directors, she is also an Alumna of the Lagos Business School.

Her working experience has spanned both the public and private sectors. She worked variously at the Ministry of Justice Calabar, FSB International Bank Plc Lagos, C. Uche & Co., a private law firm, and Clair Resources Ltd Lagos.

She joined Trans-Nationwide Express Plc in 1998 as the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser and Head of Administration, from where she rose to the position of General Manager in January 2004. She was confirmed the Managing Director/CEO in January 2005, to provide leadership and oversee the overall operations of the company.

Mr. Ude Chukwudi Odiakosa is the Head of Commercial. An alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he obtained a B.Sc in Political Science and the prestigious London School of Journalism, he has led a distinguished academic and professional career in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations.

He has at various times worked in TNT/IAS Express and Times Publication of London. He has also worked for many Marketing Communication Companies. He joined the Company in October 2005 as the Head of Commercial.

Mr Tunde Felyx Afenokhai joined the services of the company on the 14 th of April, 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Science (1994) and Masters of Science (1999) degrees in Psychology and Industrial/Organizational Psychology respectively from the University of Ibadan. A member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPMN).

Before joining Tranex, he was at various times Personnel/Admin Officer with Asra Seafoods Nig. Ltd; Personnel/Admin Assistant, African Petroleum Plc; Personnel Assistant, Consolidated Breweries Plc; Head, Human Resources, New Generation Investment Ltd; Head Human Resources and Corporate Services, Abex Express Parcel Service.

Mr. Suraj Adekunle Adebiyi
Head of Finance

Mr. Suraj Adekunle Adebiyi is the Head of Finance. He holds a BSc degree in Accounting from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1989. A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), he has worked in the Accounts Department of the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation and also a private Audit Firm, Ojike, Okechukwu & Co.

He joined the Company in April 1997 as a Branch Offices Accountant. He rose to the position of Treasury, Accounts Manager and later Audit and Systems Manager. He was elevated to his present position of Head of Finance in 2003.

Mr. Luka Anyalak Adangu
Manager, Internal Audit & Systems

Mr. Luka Anyalak Adangu who overseas the Internal Audit Department holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Jos in 1995. An Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria - ICAN. Before joining Tranex, he was Accounting Assistant - Finance, Delta Glass Plc; Financial Manager and later Group Internal Auditor at Guinea Glass Plc.

Mr. Amadi Victor Ashinobi
Head of Operations

Mr Amadi V. Ashinobi was employed effective September 1, 2008. A Masters Degree Holder in Transport Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso in 2007; Postgraduate Diploma in Transport Management Technology from FUTO in 2000; HND in Marketing from Polytechnic, Oko in 1997; and an advanced Professional Diploma from the Institute of Logistics and Transport, London.

With 2 decades Courier industry experience, Mr Ashinobi was Operations Coordinator – Owerri with International Messengers Ltd from 1989 to 1994; Operations Manager- East, United Parcel Services from 1994 to 2001; Regional Manager- East, 2001 to 2002, Head of Operations from 2002 to2003 and later Operations / Logistics Manager from 2003 to 2004 at TNT/IAS Int. Express; Regional Manager – East from 2004 to 2005 and then Head of Operations and Logistics from 2005 to 2006 at Errand Express Ltd. His last position before joining Tranex was General Manager, Operations, Services and Logistics with DGC Express Ltd from 2006 to 2008
